gadflydrummer's JournalMonday, July 26, 200411:57AM - hey guyslooooong time since i made an entry anyways just got ack from florida it was badass met a hot girl from kentuckyshe wants to get together and then i found out she's 13 at first i didn't think thats a big deal cause if you saw her youwould think she's 15 anyways she's hot and atleast alittle intersted so i'm hopin to go up and see her before school starts back a good 2 weeks which sucks balls!!!! anyways back to what i got this thing for,,, GADFLY we had another practice with everyone there yesterday it didn't go so well cause of me and i apoplogized like a milion times i think its better now lol but everyone should take a look at the site in the media section. http://www.gadflymusic.cjb.net/ they sound awesome but i am gonna goits 12 and my friend got chinese so i'll talk to youall later Current mood:  excitedSaturday, July 3, 20041:00AM - YES!!!GADFLY IS BACK AT FULL FORCE! well i think so. anyways we had practice for the first time with everyone there it was great lots of fun. anyways thats about it talkin on the phone. Current mood: excitedSaturday, June 19, 20049:59PM - pooooop tastes like poowell this week has been boring. the most excitement i have gotten all week has been going bowling with my youth group woooooooo lol katie don't you love to bowl, and my moms birthday. well gadfly hasn't gotten together for a few weeks cause tim is in italy and shall return soon and we will return to rockin and make a demo for jo to make vocals. I'm not much of a talker so thats all i can think of yada yada so ttyal. Current mood:  anxiousTuesday, June 15, 20044:27PM - been a while since i made an entryok i've been busy practicing drums with church and so on. Well this week is VBS which is a yearly thing at many churches for those who don't know. It's pretty fun for all the children. This year the theme at our church, Underwood United Methodist Church, is Lava Lava Island. HAHA isn't that gay? Last year we had a youth class but this year the youth have to help the adults have alittle fun with this well thats about it ttyal. Current mood:  busyFriday, June 11, 20041:51PM - so freakin boredi got bored beyond belief so i am writing one of these things. Tonight i am going bowling where i have no clue but i'm going bowling later i shall have jonathan a friend from church over then maybe rent a movie or something should be a good friday night. the bowling thing is with my youth leader so. sounds like i'm having a conversation with someone but i'm not. oh well later till next time. Current mood:  boredWednesday, June 9, 20045:21PM - another day in gadflywell today's practice was awesome ted came he did great for his first time on a five string and to hear the music. I really hope he stays. Also AS SOON as Tim gets back from Italy he and I and possibly ted will be rockin it out on our demo for joseph so he can get some awesome lyrics. Then shows will slowly start having GADFLY in the name which will be bitchin. I and all the band invite ALL who would like to come listen to our awesome songs. as i said before we have 4 songs written by tim hopefully we can get 1 more that he is working on that i'm not completely sure about but if you know him you can check with him. well that about wraps things up in bubble wrap its all ready for shipping (i have no idea where that came from but ok. later to all Tuesday, June 8, 200410:05PM - gadflypractice always makes not perfect but better. but yeah gadfly has practice and auditions for ted to play bass he will be good at it. but yeah thats about it i'm out 3:27PM - gadflyHey everybody my name is michael i'm the drummer for a band, yes i'm actually in a band for those who know me. gadfly is the name and we rock our website was wonderfully designed by our own guitarist Tim who is also part time a member of patient. Him and I soon are going to record an instrumental demo for our vocalist to write lyrics so far we have 4 songs and they all rock thanks to the writer tim. the band hasn't yet gotten together as a whole but hopefully we will i'm a new addition so i can't say much except give cover song ideas any band members who would like to get back with me on maybe doing a show together or sending us a demo would be greatly appreciated thanks. |
